first_imgStay on target E3 is over. We’re already halfway through 2019. We know about pretty much all of the biggest upcoming video games, the last wave before next-generation consoles hit in 2020. So now it’s just time to sit back and actually play them as they release throughout the summer and into the holidays. And there’s no better chair to sit back into than the new 2020 SecretLab Titan gaming chair. Instead of featuring some wild new innovation, this upgraded Titan chair largely iterates on previous models from SecretLab. But that’s fine. We figured out a long time ago how chairs work. And previous chairs in this line were far from broken, so there was little left to fix.AdChoices广告A great chair starts with premium material. The SecretLab Titan provides that with options for convincing Prime 2.0 PU synthetic leather or SoftWeave fabric depending on your budget, and faux carbon fiber side texturing or black stitching and embroidery depending on how stealthy you want the chair to look. The covering has already proven to be tougher and more durable compared to the competition. And as a testament to the build quality, SecretLab offers a relatively long five-year warranty. As for the comfort, as long as you weight under 300 pounds the chair should support you fine with firm cold-cure foam molded contour padding. There’s also a high-quality soft black velour head pillow made of ritzy memory foam with a cooling gel layer. The redesigned armrests are made of denser metal with smoother, more intuitive controls for adjusting them in various directions. It’s just a shame that lumbar support is still handled by a knob you twist to put more or less pressure on your lower back. Just throw in another pillow. For more on the SecretLab Titan check out the extensive review on our sister site PCMag.com.
