However, Stranger Things fans recently decoded a secret phone message via Harbour’s Instagram account, and it might be telling another story.During the Stranger Things season finale, Hopper sacrificed himself to seal the gate between the real world and the Upside Down, IndieWire reported. Hopper’s death was questioned though during a post-credits scene, which was set in Russia and revealed that an imprisoned American was residing in a jail cell there. Some fans think that this “imprisoned American” could be Hopper and that he didn’t really die at the end of Stranger Things Season 3.David Harbour’s Instagram page, with a number as his profile picture. Since the Stranger Things Season 3 premiere on July 4, Harbour kept changing his Instagram profile picture with a series of numbers, and when they were put together, they showed a phone number: 618-625-8313. Those who called the number received a message from Murray Bauman, a private investigator in the series portrayed by Brett Gelman.“Hi, you have reached the residence of Murray Bauman,” the message says, according to CNET.com. “Mom, if this is you, please hang up and call me between the hours of 5 and 6 p.m. as previously discussed, OK? If this is Joyce [Byers], Joyce [Byers], thank you for calling, I have been trying to reach ya. I have an update. It’s about, well, it’s probably best if we speak in person. It’s not good or bad, but it’s something.” dadum dee da da deet dee deet dee de pic.twitter.com/VLXjFyikAM— Stranger Things (@Stranger_Things) July 10, 2019Could Bauman have an important message for Joyce Byers, who was very close to Hopper? And if so, could Hopper still be alive?Harbour hasn’t commented on the bizarre phone message yet, and when Entertainment Tonight asked him about Stranger Things Season 4, Harbour didn’t reveal any spoilers.“I mean, I have no idea! [Laughs] I have no idea! I mean that, of course, is my hope too,” Harbour told Entertainment Tonight. “It seems pretty crazy though. You know, that machine went off and blew up and Hopper seemed to be trapped there.”Stranger Things Season 3 is now streaming on Netflix.More on Geek.com:Jeff Bezos Recreates ‘Stranger Things’ Christmas Lights SceneMaya Hawke’s Dad Posts Cute ‘Stranger Things’ Instagram TributeThe Best ‘Stranger Things’ Toyslast_img read more
