Paul Pogba may once again wear the red of Man United after the “huge error” in letting him go.Four years ago Juventus pounced when the 19-year-old’s contract expired and he has since gone on to become one of football’s most coveted midfielders.Rio Ferdinand, who was at Man United at the time, said he expects Pogba, now 23, to become the best in the business in a couple of years. “His star quality was undoubted,” he said during his role as a television analyst during Euro 2016. “There was not one person in that changing room who wasn’t sure. Everyone in that changing room knew that him leaving was a huge, huge error.”However, the latest rumour puts Man United in the lead to sign Pogba and the player is reportedly happy to come back to Old Trafford in a deal that could cost around £100m.In the years since leaving the club, the midfielder has won four Serie A titles, two Italian Cups and finished as a runner-up in the Champions League.
