first_imgThe death of a Donegal teenager at the weekend is no longer being treated as a crime, police in Derry said tonight.After a post mortem and an extensive police investigation, officers have concluded that Caolan Page died as a result of an accident with no one else was involved.The 19-year-old, from Upper Kildrum in Carrigans, was discovered in Magazine Street in the early hours of Saturday. He had serious head injuries and was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital, where he later died.Mr Page was an A-level student at St Columb’s College in Derry and had wanted to become a vet.Police say he had gone out with friends on Friday night and had become separated from them.Police studied extensive CCTV footage from the area in which Mr Page was found as part of their investigation into his death.
