Born October 26, 1940 in Clay Co., KY he was the son of Elbert & Lucinda (Henson) Hollin.Dallas worked at sawmills and was a master sawer. He has worked at Hope Lumber Comp. as a truck driver hauling chips, in Greensburg at Mitchell Veneer and lastly in Whitesburg, KY.Dallas’ family reflected that he was a “hard working man”, as many would remember him jokingly saying so, but he truly did work hard to provide for his family. He was a wonderful father who always put his children first.  He loved his family.  He was a man of his word.  If he told you something, you could count on it being the truth.  He loved to go squirrel hunting and fishing.  He loved the outdoors.  Mowing grass was one of his favorite past-times.  He liked to keep his yard looking nice and was proud of his home.  Dallas was a big man with a big heart and we are proud that he is our father.Dallas is survived by his children Jeff Hollin, Grant Hollin (Lisa), Mary Redd, Amanda Griffin (David), Brian Hollin (Ashley), Travis Hollin (Lisa) and Teresa Medeiros (Ralph).
